Elysium, Kinetiq's new Layer 2 for HYPE, launches on 9 November 2026. I tried the three main ways to trade it to see which one is actually worth using.
On this page
What I tested
Elysium is the new chain everyone in the HYPE ecosystem is talking about, and on day one there are three obvious ways to trade it: Dawn, Fomo and the Pump.fun app. I tried all three myself 😁
I looked at how fast each one is, how you get money onto Elysium, and what each one actually lets you do once you're there.
On speed it wasn't close. Dawn was the fastest of the three by far.
Here’s what I found 👇
At a Glance
My quick take: Dawn is the best Elysium trading platform I tried. It was much faster than Fomo and the Pump.fun app, and it lets you trade Elysium straight from a USDC balance, without bridging or buying HYPE first.
| Platform | Funding and gas | On Elysium | Speed |
|---|---|---|---|
| One USDC balance, no bridging; Dawn pays the gas | Copy trading, limit orders and DCA | Fastest by far | |
| Gasless, can be funded with Apple Pay | Elysium's named “exclusive trading partner” | Slower | |
| Pump.funThe Pump.fun app | Not published yet | Elysium trading in the app from 9 November | Slower |
Speed is from my own hands-on testing. Product details are from each platform's own announcements and docs as of 5 November 2026, four days before Elysium's mainnet.
What is Elysium?
Elysium is a Layer 2 built by Kinetiq, the liquid staking protocol, to extend Hyperliquid's trading stack. It's an Arbitrum Orbit chain that settles to HyperEVM and uses HYPE, bridged 1:1, for gas.Bankless
The idea is to give trading apps a roomier home than HyperEVM, whose blocks are kept intentionally small. Mainnet goes live on 9 November 2026, after a public testnet that opened in September. There's no Elysium token and no points programme.
What that means if you trade memecoins:
- Gas is paid in HYPE. Every transaction on Elysium pays its fee in HYPE, so trading from your own wallet means getting HYPE onto the chain first.Coinranking
- Launch day is busy. Launchpads including Montra and Citadel, the Nest DEX, a Speculate prediction market and Derive options are all lined up, and Uniswap contracts are being deployed.
- Hyperliquid links come later. Hooks into Hyperliquid's order books are planned for about a month after mainnet. On day one, Elysium is a fast EVM chain.
The platforms
All three say they'll support Elysium trading from day one. Here's how they differ.
1. Dawn
Dawn is a Telegram trading bot that adds Elysium on the day the chain goes live, alongside the other chains it already trades.Dawn
The big difference is funding. Dawn keeps one USDC balance across every chain it supports, so you trade Elysium coins from that balance: no bridging, no HYPE to buy first, and Dawn pays the gas. You paste a coin's contract address and Dawn works out that it's on Elysium.
It's also the most complete of the three. Copy trading, limit orders and DCA all work on Elysium, the same as on its other chains.Dawn
And it was the fastest of the three in my tests, by a long way.

2. Fomo
Fomo is a social trading app for iOS, Android and the web, and Elysium has named it its “exclusive trading partner”, without saying what that exclusivity covers.Bankless
Fomo describes itself as multichain and gasless, and you can fund it with Apple Pay. It hasn't published Elysium-specific fees.Fomo
When I compared the best cross-chain memecoin bots, I found Fomo's app polished but more frustrating to navigate than the Telegram bots. On Elysium the bigger issue was speed: it was noticeably slower than Dawn in my tests. Being the official partner doesn't make it the fastest.

3. Pump.fun app
Pump.fun announced on 28 October that Elysium trading starts in its app on 9 November. The announcement only covers the app: it doesn't move Pump.fun's Solana launchpad or its liquidity to Elysium.ChainCatcher
Pump.fun hasn't said how you fund Elysium trades in the app or what it charges for them.
If you already live in the Pump.fun app, it's the least effort way to look at Elysium coins. But it was slower than Dawn in my tests, and with so little published about fees and funding, it's hard to recommend over the other two yet.
Speed: Dawn was the fastest by far
Speed is where the three really separated. In my tests, Dawn was the fastest by far. Its trades went through clearly ahead of both Fomo and the Pump.fun app, and it wasn't a close call.
That matters more on a brand-new chain than anywhere else. On launch day, Elysium coins will move fast, and a trade that lands late is a trade at a worse price.
It also lines up with what I've seen on other chains. Dawn was the most consistent bot in my cross-chain speed tests, and in the Dawn vs Cove speed test it confirmed first in all six Solana trades, with every transaction linked on-chain.
Unlike the Dawn vs Cove test, I'm not publishing timings or transactions for this one, so treat it as a hands-on result rather than a measured one. Speeds may also shift once Elysium's Hyperliquid order book hooks arrive, about a month after launch.
Fees, gas and funding
Getting money onto a new chain is usually the most annoying part, so this is where the platforms differ most:
- Dawn: 1% per buy or sell, with a $0.35 minimum. Dawn pays up to $5 of gas per trade, and cashback of 25% to 55% of the fee, depending on your 30-day volume, brings the effective fee down. You trade from your USDC balance, so there's nothing to bridge.Dawn docs
- Fomo: gasless and can be funded with Apple Pay, but no Elysium fees published yet.
- Pump.fun app: no fees or funding details announced for Elysium yet.
- Your own wallet: bridge HYPE from HyperEVM 1:1 through the official link Elysium posts on launch day, then pay gas in HYPE yourself.AirdropAlert
Staying safe on a new chain
New chains attract scams. Fake Telegram bots and unofficial bridges will claim Elysium support, and MetaMask has already flagged at least one community bridge as possible phishing.AirdropAlert
- Only bridge through the link Elysium itself posts, and double-check any network details against its official channels.
- Stick to platforms you can verify. Dawn and Fomo both use Privy for their wallet infrastructure, and Dawn lets you export your private key.
- Keep only what you're actively trading in a trading wallet. The TradeWiz security incident is a recent reminder of why.
Conclusion
Dawnfastest by far in my tests, and the simplest way to fund Elysium trades
FomoElysium's named trading partner; worth it if you want a dedicated app
Pump.funhandy if you already use the app, but slower, and few details published yet
After trying all three, Dawn is the best Elysium trading platform for me. It was the fastest by far, it skips bridging and HYPE entirely, and it already has copy trading, limit orders and DCA working on the chain.
Fomo is the official partner and a reasonable pick if you want an app on your phone. The Pump.fun app is convenient if you already use it, but there's very little published about how it handles Elysium yet.
My recommendation
If you want to trade Elysium from day one, I'd use Dawn. It was much faster than the other two in my tests, and it's the easiest way onto the chain.

FAQ
What is the best trading platform for Elysium?
In my testing it was Dawn. It was the fastest of the three platforms I tried by far, it trades Elysium from one USDC balance with no bridging and no HYPE to buy, it pays the gas, and copy trading, limit orders and DCA all work on Elysium. Fomo and the Pump.fun app both support Elysium too, but both were slower for me.
What is Elysium?
Elysium is a Layer 2 built by Kinetiq, the liquid staking protocol, to extend Hyperliquid's trading stack. It is an Arbitrum Orbit chain that settles to HyperEVM and uses HYPE, bridged 1:1, for gas. It has no token of its own and no points programme.
When does Elysium launch?
Mainnet goes live on 9 November 2026. Dawn, Fomo and the Pump.fun app have all said they will support Elysium trading from that day. Hooks into Hyperliquid's order books are planned for roughly a month after mainnet.
Do I need HYPE to trade on Elysium?
Every Elysium transaction pays its gas in HYPE, so if you trade with your own wallet you need HYPE on the chain. With Dawn you don't: it trades from your USDC balance and pays the gas for you, up to $5 per trade. Fomo describes itself as gasless.
How do I bridge to Elysium?
The official route bridges HYPE from HyperEVM 1:1 through the link Elysium posts on launch day. If you trade through Dawn you can skip bridging entirely, because it trades from your USDC balance. Be careful with unofficial community bridges: at least one has been flagged as possible phishing.
Can you copy trade on Elysium?
Yes, with Dawn. It says copy trading works on Elysium: follow a trader and their Elysium trades are copied into your wallet, the same way it works on its other chains.
What fees does Dawn charge on Elysium?
Dawn lists 1% per buy or sell on Elysium, with a $0.35 minimum, and pays up to $5 of gas per trade. Its cashback of 25% to 55% of the fee, depending on your 30-day volume, brings the effective fee down further.
Is Fomo the official Elysium trading app?
Elysium calls Fomo its “exclusive trading partner” but hasn't said what that exclusivity covers. It isn't the only way in: Dawn and the Pump.fun app both support Elysium trading from day one, and Dawn was faster in my tests.
